This tomato chutney recipe is one of my favorite ways to preserve an abundant tomato crop from the vegetable garden. It's sweet and tangy and full of flavor. Top burgers, spread it in sandwiches, or mix it into potato salad.
A summery chutney that tastes like Christmas. Plums, tomatoes, and granny smith apples are paired with apple cider vinegar and honey. Throw in some spices, stir, and you’re golden.
The recipe below is an approximation of Jaffrey’s recipe (I still don’t have Fenugreek seeds) and I made most of it up as I went along. Chutneys are great to improvise with.
